Industry Spotlight: Quality Control Technician

Salutations
Now Hiring: Quality Control Technician @ Broken Coast
Wage: 21$/Hr

Now this isn't just passing a bowl and nodding if its good or not.  This is making sure things are allrightmon from the microscopic cannabinoids, to the macroscopic- Federal Compliance wise that is.

Now this job sounds extremely dope, for a lot of reasons.  You're responsible for making sure that end product is as good as advertised. Chemically.

If you've got at least 2 years of certified and accredited lab experience working with High Performance Liquid Chromatography this could be an extremely rewarding place to get involved directly with the plants.

You will work with the quality department as a technical resource, while testing and analyzing flowers for impurities, pests, THC / CBD content among other things in their in house laboratory.
Testing and recording strain samples and then logging them in Laboratory Information Management Systems will make you a ganja librarian in some ways.  How cool is that?~!

Communicating with almost all departments of the business, you'd be a vital link between outside compliance agents and top brass.  Federal law has created a system for licensed cannabis producers to be accountable for their quality and standards, not unlike health inspectors for restaurants and your work is key to keeping the lights on.

There is an entire support industry of quality assurance for 3rd party testing, with independent laboratories who specialize in getting all of the genetic jamba juice turned into data, that is necessary for bringing a new legal strain to market.  So don't limit yourself to the big LP's in this quest.

So it wouldn't always be skipping thru the garden with a lit joint in your mouth, chances are- you probably don't even smoke weed because you're a super busy chemist with no time for dilly dally.

But if you're tired of testing grain samples for the wheat board- Now's your time to jump ship- the tide is rising quick.
