Among lawmakers there was almost no discussion about what, why or how cannabis was a danger.

Reefer Madness was a very real thing.

Beatniks helped romanticize a less conformist lifestyle and a nation of highways connected us.

Peace and love.

Just Say No
 and Parental Advisory stickers.

420 Activism at the Legislative building.

Prices: 2 for 25$ in the year 2000 and then just 10$ a gram until 2018.

The Prince of  Pot- Marc Emery. His activism, eventual extradition to the US and return home.

Manitoba farms being permitted to grow hemp on an industrial level.

Canadian patients fighting for and winning the right to access medical marijuana in 2001.

The governments disastrous attempt to grow cannabis for medical patients in a mine near Flin Flon.

To patients being able to provide their own cannabis thru new legislation.

To the 50,000+ marijuana charges laid against citizens last year alone.

....We smoke today in freedom, but never forget the long road it has been.
