Large bud (.88g) was nice to see. Noticabley the top half of the bud was missing and it was slightly smooshed flat inside the zip top pouch. There was a decent sized stem holding this piece together, but the total weight was 1.04. Manitoba allows a 10% variance on 1 gram packages so anything over .90 is good it seems. Pine cone shape. Trimming seemed on the lower end of quality with some fan leaf stems still in place.
Aroma was herbacious, grassy and fairly negligible in the bag.
Busting produced a pleasant but faint amount of blackberry and pine.
Trichome coverage was quite nice and created a very dusty coating on my fingers when handling it.
Moisture level was very low, breaking down to extremely fine product with minimal force.
Easy to roll, but burned too hot and fast in rolling paper. Bubbler was most flavorful and vaping gave a pronounced herbal note.
Flavor was forgettable but smooth. Initial draw was herbal eucalyptus, pine. Smooth on the lungs in a bong, which was my preferrend method on this one. Coughed a bit, felt satisfyingly rich. End notes on exhale- A berry note left in my sinus for about 30 seconds but it was replaced with light pine and a bit of a mineral end note- almost alluminum? Dry mouth was on me quick.
Feeling a solid stone, not night ending as far as ability to do the housework. I find myself stretching and my mind is beginning to wander to the music in the background in the cerebral sort of relaxation. If I had to guess about the accuracy of the 18.7% THC count, I would say that sounds about right.
TLDR:
Bud was of good size for a gram, it is greenhouse commercial grade weed, which for 11$ a gram- seems to be pretty much the standard. Experience was better than the appearance and flavor. Trimming was poor. Cure was poor- too dry and trichome heads broken off, lacking in terpene profile. I honestly wouldn't have been able to tell you this was a kush strain at all without help from other bloggers and youtubers.
