Wedding Cake #7- Black Alley Craft Cannabis - Private LP- Never for sale
THC/CBD: Unknown at this time-
Price: Unavailable- Private LP.
Genetics: G.S.C X Cherry Pie
Celebrations and Vows.
Gold Rings and Flowers.
Black ties and White Pearls.
Champagne and Wedding Cake!
Wedding Cake, Birthday Cake Kush or Pink Cookies are all different names for the same genetically similar hybrid strains originating with rich crosses of Durban Poison parentage. But what they all share is- Deliciousness.
Visually- Buds structure was in tight rosettes, dense and heavy. Trichome coverage was absolute. Under 15X magnification- resin glands were whole, with amber, milky AND translucent heads. Flowers had a very unique coloration, reminded me of frosted gun metal with purple? Very bright purple-pinks exposed along the stem inside.
Opening Nose: It was hard to focus on the looks, because the aroma coming out of this jar was kind of insane. PUNGENT. Almost made my eyes water a little, but those were probably just little tears of joy.
Like a freshly sliced piece of golden vanilla cake, heaped with sweet vanilla buttercream frosting. Orange-Citrus and Magnolia. Also a very funky sweet petrol note that says DON'T FORGET THAT I AM KUSH.
Taste: Intense, sweet and creamy with a vanilla-caramel malt off the draw-but develops into a seasoned spice-fuel that takes this out of the dessert realm a bit and puts it into familiar kushiness that lingers and lingers. Can still taste it minutes after inhaling.
Experience: ALMOST as fun to admire as it is to consume ( much like a real wedding cake!) this was a very balanced, yet electrically charged high- this Hybrid is like a 90's wedding DJ. Just enough Mariah Carey to balance out the House of Pain.
Its hard to have a bad time with Wedding Cake. It IS a very abrupt high however- and I felt like I was immediately smashed after one bong. Probably best to take it slow with this one, but its so tasty you'll have a hard time controlling yourself.
TLDR: Bonkers aroma and taste- beautiful jar appeal and a lively high- Its like a party in a bowl.
Cerebral, fun and tactile- Great wedding night experience- Wink Wink.
If you see this strain pop up in the future- make sure to grab yourself a slice.
