Health Cannabis- New Regulations Survey

Salutations~

Health Canada wants to know what you have to say about the new regulations being put in place surrounding the legalization of cannabis edibles, concentrates and topicals.

The survey is looking for public input about the proposed new laws governing the sale of the aforementioned "new products" and is found at THIS LINK.  Took me about 20 minutes to get some decent responses in, but you could do it a lot quicker than I did if you don't have that kind of time.

The survey contains 13 questions with room for 10,000 characters per answer, so it does allow for a bit more than just a multiple choice style of consultation, so its useful to be able to see the questions ahead of time. (LINK HERE)

Questions range from proposed thresholds for THC per unit in various forms, questions about food safety / allergies etc, to labeling, advertising, nutritional info and listed contents.

The current proposals in a simple info-graphic- LINK HERE

This survey gives some insight into what will and will not be allowed-if approved, no more than 10 milligrams of THC will be allowed in food and beverage products. Even if you're not an edible consumer- this is going to shape the products of the future, why not have your expert opinion known?

The consultation period closes on Feb 20th.
